I remember the type and production designer Tim Girvin coming to my studio as the poster was going to press, to tell me I had misspelled the word 'Philatelic,' which I had spelled 'Philatellic.' After a short freakout, I decided that my version of the word stood for my love of telling tall tales.

Since then I have made hundreds of posters, some large runs, but most limited editions or one-of-a-kind. I enjoy making up the events because it gives me immense leeway in creating the art. This last month has been no exception. My piece "The Fortune Tellers" was 'chosen' to grace the poster for Fortune Expo at the Lincoln Center in NYC.

Then, fortune smiled on me again, as my work "Nude Descending a Staircase Stripped Bare by Her Bats, Odd!" was selected for the Duchamp Con in Zurich. This is a nice big poster, 60"H x 36"W!
